Unpainted, Undrawn is a wall installation of a series of technological devices (tablets, ebook readers, smartphones) whose screens, fundamental for their use, are broken. The artist has collected these screens, dismantled and framed them using classic or modern picture frames. The exhibited images are casual, related to a figurative iconology proposed within the criteria of a new modernity. The process of reconstruction of the object unveils the materiality of the medium. Its physicality is counterposed to its former digitality through an overturning strategy familiar to contemporary art.
